LA Knight made a significant impression after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. His main roster call up wasn’t received as well at first, but things are much better now as he is very over with fans. Now it appears Seth Rollins approves of LA Knight being compared to The Rock.

LA Knight has tried to keep himself relevant despite being put into very awkward booking situations. It is very evident that LA Knight is one of the most over WWE Superstars right now as he gets incredibly loud reactions every week.

Recently, WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash blasted LA Knight for being ripoff of The Rock and Steve Austin. While speaking with Fox Sports, Rollins made it clear that he believes LA Knight being compared to The Rock is a win.

“…The LA Knight thing, he’s got a call and response thing with the audience. He’s got that feeling that he’s being held down a little bit. He’s got that chip on his shoulder. And, in some ways, he’s just a throwback to the Attitude Era.

I know he’s received a lot of comparisons to The Rock and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, some people mocking him for that. But, I mean, those two are some of the most popular superstars in the history of our industry. I think any comparison you’re going to get to them, especially from a popularity standpoint, is a win.”

LA Knight will be participating in the SummerSlam Battle Royal this week. We will have to wait and see how WWE will book him after the Premium Live Event ends, as fans want nothing but the best for him.
