WWE Adds LA Knight To New SummerSlam Match

SummerSlam is going down on August 5th in Detroit’s Ford Field. Now, that show is a bit bigger after Slim Jim got another match added to the card.

This week’s SmackDown saw a lot of hype for SummerSlam. They also announced that the Slim Jim Battle Royal has been added to the card.

It was not revealed what the stakes are for this new battle royal match, but Slim Jim will be sponsoring the contest. After they announced the match, LA Knight and Sheamus had words with Adam Pearce about winning the match. Then they set up a contest for next week’s SmackDown between the two of them.

We will have to see what else WWE adds to SummerSlam. The new Slim Jim Battle Royal match could give even more Superstars a chance to perform at the biggest party of the summer.
