WWE’s NXT brand has a lot of things going on, and they have many titles. That being said, only one singles title exists for the women, but there is also a hope that might eventually change.

WWE NXT only has a Women’s Title. They did have women’s tag team titles, but those were brought up to the WWE main roster when Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre were called up to the main roster. Those titles have been since consolidated with the main roster’s Women’s Tag Team Titles.

When asked about the idea of introducing a mid-card title for NXT, Shawn Michaels said it’s “always an option.” He questioned what title that would be, other than a tag team title situation.

“I’m always open to those options, but as you’ll see this weekend we’ll have an NXT Women’s Title match, but we’ll also have a female weapons wild match with Roxanne Perez and Blair Davenport.”

Shawn Michaels went on to say that NXT has no trouble finding spots for women on the roster, and they “get a kick” out of writing stories for females. He then went on to say that he would put his women’s roster against anyone else’s any day of the week.

Shawn Michaels also opened up about which WWE main roster Superstars he wants to see in NXT as well. Needless to say, there are a few people that he would love to invite in NXT.

Interestingly enough, AEW was recently dragged in a big way thanks to their women’s division, and lack of booking. What’s your take on the NXT women’s division? Sound off in the comments!
