Nikki Cross is back with her previous persona in WWE, as she left her superhero gimmick in the rear view mirror. This is a bit frustrating for her fans, because they miss her unique brand of sports entertainment. That being said, those fans might want to keep waiting on that push for Cross.
Although Nikki Cross did hold a women’s title under her Nikki ASH persona, but it seems that those days are in her past. She won the WWE 24/7 Title as her last chance to carry gold, but she trashed that title instead.
BWE was asked by one fan if there are any “positive plans” for Nikki Cross. The bona fide WWE insider tweeted back that there are no plans at this time. That being said, she is still working a dark match.
Not now. But she has a match on pre show.
Dark matches can turn into a lot more in WWE, especially if those talented Superstars reach for that brass ring. Hopefully, Nikki Cross will give those fans something that they can cheer for, because higher-ups are certainly listening to everything that the fans say.
Nikki Cross could be waiting on her stable to return to WWE as well, but that might not be in the pipeline now, especially since Eric Young left the company without debuting and he went back to Impact Wrestling. Hopefully, WWE will find a place for the educated Superstar.
