John Cena’s popular superhero character, Peacemaker, will soon be joining the roster of playable characters in the new Mortal Kombat 1 video game.

This exciting announcement was made during the San Diego Comic-Con event, where a new DLC pack called “Kombat Pack” was revealed. IGN also shared the amazing news on their official Twitter account.

Homelander, Peacemaker, and Omni-Man are coming to Mortal Kombat 1 in the Kombat Pack Roster alongside Quan Chi, Ermac and Takeda. #SDCC

The Kombat Pack will include not only Peacemaker but also other beloved superhero characters like Homelander and Omni-Man, in addition to classic Mortal Kombat characters Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda.

John Cena first portrayed Peacemaker in the 2021 movie “The Suicide Squad,” earning widespread praise for his performance. The character’s popularity led to a spinoff series dedicated to Peacemaker, which premiered on HBO Max the following year.

Fans of both Mortal Kombat and the Peacemaker character can look forward to playing as John Cena’s superhero in the upcoming video game DLC. Here’s a first look at the exciting Kombat Pack roster, featuring Cena’s portrayal of Peacemaker.
