Becky Lynch’s WWE Status After SummerSlam

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus are still feuding with SummerSlam in sight. Now, it seems that we know WWE’s plan for The Man after the biggest party of the summer.

Rumors were floating around about Becky Lynch taking another hiatus after SummerSlam. After all, this run for The Man has been a lengthy one, and she hasn’t had much of a break, despite a few physical setbacks along the way.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Becky Lynch had no plans in mind for another hiatus. This was as of Money in the Bank, but it appears that WWE still has plans to use The Man after the big August 5th event in Detroit’s Ford Field.

When we asked about Becky Lynch taking time off after Summerslam, we were told that wasn’t the plan as of Money in the Bank weekend.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus will leave it all in the ring at SummerSlam, and their contest will certainly be worth watching. That being said, it doesn’t appear that match will serve as any kind of goodbye for Becky Lynch at this time.

Trish Stratus turned heel on Becky Lynch after WrestleMania, and many fans wondered how WWE would make that rivalry stretch to SummerSlam. Thankfully, Trish had Zoey Stark by her side to help carry some of the weight, and their match is still on for August 5th’s big event.
