Shayna Baszler Claims Fans Cheer For Her Because She Is ‘Real’ Unlike Ronda Rousey

Shayna Baszler has been associated with Ronda Rousey ever since she made her way to WWE and throughout it all, there have been a lot of twists and turns. Now it appears Baszler took a shot at Rousey yet again.

During the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event, Shayna Baszler attacked Ronda Rousey in the final moments of the match, leading to Raquel and Morgan capitalising to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles back.

While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Shayna Baszler explained why fans have suddenly taken her side. Baszler stated that she is real, unlike Ronda Rousey. That’s why fans have started to cheer for her.

“One thing I’ve always said about wrestling fans – sports fans in general – is they can smell when you’re faking the funk,” Baszler explained, “and all this is legit and real to me. I think they connect to stuff that’s real.

You just cheer for who you like and it just happens to be me because the stuff I’m saying is real,” Baszler said, “and the stuff I’m saying is the stuff fans have been saying ever since Ronda got signed.”

Ronda Rousey is currently invested in her feud with Shayna Baszler after Baszler betrayed her at the WWE Money In The Bank Premium Live Event. WWE was also forced to speed up plans for Ronda Rousey. We’ll have to wait and see how their feud will be booked in the coming weeks.
