LA Knight might be yelling “YEAH” on WWE television every week now, but there was a time when he was trying hard to get noticed, just like everyone else. It seems that an early video of LA Knight shows that he’s been at it this whole time.

Back in 2014, a group of promising WWE Superstars appeared in Triple H’s comprehensive Power Series workout DVD. Fast forward nearly a decade, and a particular moment from that video might amuse WWE fans, especially those who admire LA Knight.

Formerly known as Slate Randall in WWE’s NXT developmental system, the now 40-year-old wrestler gained prominence as Eli Drake in IMPACT Wrestling, where his infectious “YEAH!” catchphrase resonated with fans. He was also the namer of dummies, a catchphrase that he might bring back.

In the video provided below, Triple H queries the group of NXT trainees if they are prepared to move on to the next exercise set. While others responded politely, Knight took The Game by surprise, loudly proclaiming, “YEAH!”

This video went viral on a Sunday, and it gave fans something to talk about. It’s pretty funny to see that LA Knight has been plugging away with his “YEAH!” catchphrase even when he was so young with the company.
