WWE is always looking to make each and every episode of their weekly shows memorable in one way or the other. The company continues to make records even now and it appears Smackdown at Madison Square Garden helped set a major WWE record.

WWE and Madison Square Garden have a lot of history, dating back decades. As such, WWE decided to hold this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown at ‘The World’s Most Famous Arena.’

The show featured several solid matches and segments, ending with a 40-minute epic with The Bloodline. Naturally, fans were heavily invested in what was going on from start to finish.

WWE’s official Twitter account announced that this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown was the highest grossing WWE event ever at Madison Square Garden. It was also the highest grossing domestic Smackdown in WWE history.
