Seth Rollins is the Visionary of WWE and has done a lot for the business since his debut in the company more than a decade ago. He was set for a major match on the MSG episode of Smackdown this week but it appears the match was changed.

Madison Square Garden was considered the World’s Most Famous Arena for a long time. The venue has hosted several high-profile WWE events. Seth Rollins is also set to compete there this week.

It was previously announced that The Visionary was going to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest on the July 7th episode of Night Smackdown emanating from Madison Square Garden.

However, the Madison Square Garden website is now advertising a Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor singles match. It was not mentioned why the match was suddenly changed to Finn Balor.

This comes after Damian Priest won the Money in the Bank ladder match, leading to some tension between himself and Finn Balor. We’ll have to wait and see how the match will turn out this week.

What’s your view on this sudden change? Do you think Seth Rollins will have a long reign as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion? Sound off in the comments!
