Money in the Bank showcased several fantastic matches, and fans had high expectations for the main event. The Usos and Roman Reigns, alongside Solo Sikoa, delivered an intense battle, with the Usos emerging as the victors.

During the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette shared his thoughts on the match. While he acknowledged the wrestlers’ pacing, he believed that the bout didn’t need to last for 33 minutes.

“[During the Blooding Civil War] I understand that at the start they were in no hurry, they were milking it because the issue is over and Roman’s over… Did this match need to be 33 minutes bell to bell?”

“It was the right finish… Historically, World Champions have lost falls in tag team matches to set sh*t up. I didn’t mind that, if they’d beaten Solo[Sikoa], people would have kind of been, ‘ehhhh’ because that’s what you’d expect and obviously Roman wanted to get the family over. So the only problem I had was goddamn the first 15 minutes was a schlog, wasn’t it?”

The Bloodline will continue from this point, and it is apparent who Roman Reigns will face at SummerSlam now as well. Only time will tell where the Bloodline saga leads fans, but Jim Cornette might like shorter matches from this point on.

We will have to see how the Bloodline’s storyline progresses, because the Trial of Roman Reigns is slated for this week’s SmackDown. That could be an interesting way to follow-up on Money in the Bank.

Roman Reigns’ story has been incredible to watch so far, but is it the best angle in WWE history? Sound off in the comments!
