Austin Theory is steadily building his reputation as one of WWE’s up-and-coming talents, showcasing his skills on television each week. The United States Champion worked hard to become one of the more reliable Superstars in the company right now. Now it appears Austin Theory crossed a huge milestone as the United States Champion.

The United States Champion defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year and this ended up shocking fans in a major way. Of course, Theory has been carrying forward with the momentum since then.

Ever since Austin Theory was called up to the main roster, Vince McMahon had plans to position him as a top star. After Triple H took over as head of Creative, it has been evident that those plans remain unchanged.

On July 5th, Austin Theory officially became champion for 221 days. His reign is now the fourth highest in WWE history, behind Jon Moxley’s 351-day reign, Rick Rude’s 378-day stint, and Lex Luger’s 522 days with the title.
