Tonight promises an exciting night of action as we head closer to Forbidden Door. We’ll find out who will team up with Darby Allin and Sting at Forbidden Door. Hiroshi Tanahashi will also be in action against Swerve Strickland. The complete match card is as follows:

AEW Collision Opener:

The opening package for the show airs. The commentators welcome the audience to the show.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and introduces Darby Allin and Sting. But Chris Jericho’s music hit and he walks out to the ring with Minoru Suzuki. Jericho asks Schiavone to shut up. He says he is not from Toronto and asks the fans not to suck up to him since he is from Winnipeg.

He says they are in a bad mood because Sting and Darby Allin have kept them waiting and they are done with it. He then asks who is Sting and Allin going to get who is tougher than Suzuki and crazier than he is. He then says even though Sammy is not with them, he is still one of the best high flyers. He says they are not waiting for their answer. He then says that Tony knows who their partner is and he tries to threaten Tony.

Sting’s music hit and he walks to the ring with Darby Allin. Darby asks Jericho to shut up. He then says maybe Sammy’s common sense kicked in which is why he is not here. He then says if Sammy shows up to Forbidden Door, then he will kick his ass just like their tag partner kicked Jericho’s ass at the Tokyo Dome.

Tetsuya Naito’s music plays and he walks to the ring. Jericho then leaves the ring after a staredown.

A package of Miro plays where he says The Redeemer kneels before no man or God. He says he must walk alone and he renounces his God, his gold, and his wife.

Swerve Strickland vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi

Swerve Strickland’s music plays and he comes out to the ring. Hiroshi Tanahashi’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

The match starts and Tanahashi hits a crossbody. Tanahashi hits a dropkick. Swerve comes back with a head scissors sending Tanahashi out of the ring. Swerve kicks Tanahashi in the face and attacks him on the mat.

Swerve attacks him in the corner. Tanahashi sends Swerve out of the ring. He goes for a baseball slide but is caught in the apron and Swerve kicks him in the face. Tanahashi fights back and knocks him down. Prince Nana distracts Tanahashi and Swerve attacks him from behind. Swerve drives Tanahashi into the barricade.

He sends him back into the ring. Swerve stomps Tanahashi. Swerve with an elbow to Tanahashi. Tanahashi fights back with the sling blade. He then hits a bodyslam and follows it with a senton. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

Swerve with a flat liner. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Tanahashi with the dragon screw and he follows it with the sling blade. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Tanahashi goes for a frog splash but Swerve gets his knees up. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Swerve with a kick to Tanahashi’s face. Swerve goes for the stomp and misses.

Tanahashi hits a sling blade but is stopped by Swerve. Tanahashi throws him off and hits a frog splash for the win.

Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi

MJF’s music plays and he is on the titantron. MJF says he is going to embarrass him at Forbidden. He says he told Tony Khan he will show up at Forbidden Door if they are the first match. He says he is going to take Tanahashi’s air guitar and shove it up his ass. He then says Tanahashi is not on his level.

Brody King vs. Andrade El Idolo

Brody King’s music plays and he comes out to the ring with Julia Hart. Andrade El Idolo’s theme song plays and he walks to the ring.

The match begins and Andrade hits a basement dropkick. He then sends Brody outside the ring. He sends King into the post. Andrade then hits a moonsault to the outside. He sends Brody into the ring. Cover! 1….kick out.

Brody recovers and sends Andrade out of the ring with a chop. Brody King sends him into the barricade. Brody chops Andrade. He sends Andrade into the barricade again. He sends Andrade into the ring and attacks him in the corner.

Brody King with a suplex on Andrade. King hits a bodyslam and follows it with a senton. Brody knocks Andrade down with another chop. King goes to work on Andrade. King sends Andrade to the apron and hits him multiple times. Andrade fights back with a jawbreaker. He sends him into the turnbuckle.

Andrade with a dragon screw leg whip. He climbs the top rope and hits a crossbody. He hits another dragon screw and a flying forearm strike. Andrade hits the meteora in the corner. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Brody with a death valley driver in the corner. King hits a cannonball in the corner. Andrade recovers and hits a chop block. He locks in the figure four leg lock. Julia is on the apron with his mask. Andrade hits a back elbow and locks in the figure leg lock and transitions to figure 8. Buddy Matthews enters the ring and attacks Andrade. Brody hits the discus clothesline. King hits a gonzo bomb.

Winner: Andrade El Idolo via DQ

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and he introduces Christian Cage and Luchasaurus. Christian’s music plays and he walks out with Luchasaurus.

Christian says he left Collision last week and he was in a really bad mood for a lot of reasons but he knew he would be back in Toronto with the TNT Championship and now he is in a worse mood. He then insults the city and the fans. He then insults the Toronto Maple Leafs team.

He says he had to leave Toronto to become a champion. He says there will be no more open challenges and other wrestlers will have to earn a title shot. He then says he will take this championship to new heights and they will remain the face of TNT now and forever.

Owen Hart Foundation Tournament: Nyla Rose vs. Willow Nightingale

Willow Nightingale’s music plays and she walks out to the ring. Nyla Rose’s theme song plays and she walks to the ring.

The match starts and Nightingale knocks down Rose. Rose attacks Nightingale in the corner. Willow recovers and hits a dropkick. She chops Rose in the corner. Willow attacks her in the corner. Rose rolls out of the ring. Marina distracts Willow and Rose sends her into the post.

She sends Willow into the ring. Rose goes to work on Willow. She slams Willow and goes for the leg drop and misses. Willow fights back and attacks Rose in the corner. Willow with a dropkick. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Nyla hits a suplex and slams her. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Rose sets her up on the second rope and goes for a powerbomb but Willow fights out of it. Nightingale hits the pounce and follows it with a doctor bomb for the win.

The Outcasts are at ringside. Skye Blue comes out to help Willow.

Lexi interviews Scorpio Sky who says he watched the accomplishments video they out together and it should’ve made him feel good but it didn’t because he struggled to get where he is. He lists his achievements and says now everyone will find out who he is.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Jeremy Prophet

Powerhouse Hobbs’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

The match starts and Hobbs attacks him from behind. He attacks Prophet in the corner. Hobbs hits a clothesline. He then his a spine buster for the win.

Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs

CM Punk, FTR, & Ricky Starks vs. Jay White, Juice Robinson, & The Gunns

Bullet Club Gold’s theme song plays and they walk out to the ring. The Gunns’ music hit and they walk to the ring. Ricky Starks’ theme song plays and he comes out. FTR’s music plays next and they join him on the ramp. CM Punk’s music plays and he joins them and they walk to the ring.

The match starts with Punk and Jay White. Jay tags out to Juice. Punk knocks him down and tags out. Dax knocks down Juice. He then hits a bodyslam. Dax with a side headlock takeover.

Juice with a back suplex and a senton. Cover! 1….kick out. He tags out and Austin attacks Dax in the corner. Dax fights back and hits suplex followed by a leg drop. He tags out and Cash knocks him down.

Cash tags out and Ricky attacks Austin. Austin tags out and Jay White asks Ricky to tag Punk. Starks tags Punk. Punk attacks him in the corner. Both men exchange strikes. Punk attacks Jay in the corner. White sends Punk out to the floor and a brawl breaks out on the outside. White tags out.

Punk with a big boot and a leg drop. Punk tags out and Dax attacks Colten in the corner. He knocks him down. Colten with a jawbreaker and he tags out. Juice and Dax exchange chops. Juice climbs the top rope but is stopped by Dax who hits a superplex. Cash tags in and they hit the Doomsday device. Cover! 1….2….Jay White makes the save. Juice tags out.

Colten attacks Cash in the corner and hits a dropkick. Cash knocks down Colten with a chop. He tags out and Punk with an elbow off the top rope. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Punk with a neckbreaker. Cover! 1….2….kick out. White distracts Punk and Colten knocks him down before tagging out.

Austin attacks Punk in the corner and tags out. Jay chops Punk in the corner. Jay tags out and Juice goes to work on Punk. Austin tags in. Punk tries to fight back but is stopped. Austin tags out and Jay attacks him in the corner. He sends Punk out of the ring.

Jay plants Punk on the apron. Punk gets back in the ring. Jay goes back to work on him. Jay attacks Punk in the corner. Jay sets him up on the top rope. Punk throws him off and hits a crossbody. Both men exchange strikes. Jay White witha chop block.

Punk hits a step up knee and a neckbreaker. The Gunns attacks FTR. Jay tags out. Juice goes for the GTS but Punk hits a roundhouse kick. Juice tags out. Punk also tags out. Ricky hits the Alabama slam on Colten and he slams Austin.

Jay attacks him. FTR also get involved and a brawl breaks out. Jay tags in but Starks hit the blue thunder bomb. Starks with a suplex. Cover! 1…2…Juice makes the save. Dax hits a piledriver on Juice. The Gunns take out Dax. Cash takes out The Gunns and hits a suicide dive.

Punk goes for a dive but is caught and drilled with a urinagi. He hit a urinagi to Starks. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Starks spears the Gunns. Juice hit Starks with the left hand of God and Jay White hit the bladerunner for the win.
