Seth Rollins Says Rematch With Roman Reigns Is Inevitable

Seth Rollins is the Visionary of WWE and has done a lot for the business since his debut in the company more than a decade ago. After all, he is already a bonafide future WWE Hall Of Famer thanks to his incredible achievements in the company. That said, it appears he believes that a rematch with Roman Reigns is inevitable.

Seth Rollins last faced Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship to kick off the Royal Rumble event last year. The Visionary played mind games with Reigns as he brought back the Shield gimmick for the match.

Their match ended in disqualification after Roman Reigns choked out Rollins without letting him go. Rollins has usually beaten Reigns in big matches, with wins over him at WrestleMania 31 and Money in the Bank 2016 as well.

While speaking with the New York Post, Seth Rollins was asked when he and Roman Reigns would duke it out again. Rollins made it clear that he believes a rematch with Roman Reigns is inevitable.

“I think that it’s just inevitable. We came up together. We grew into WWE together. We built the industry into what it is over the last decade. We are really going to make it in our image over the next decade, and hopefully, we’ll leave the place better than we found it. That matchup is always gonna be huge. Whenever we get back to it, I hope it’s at the right place at the right time.”

Seth Rollins also made it clear that he doesn’t want to be champion like Roman Reigns but instead wants to be like CM Punk. It remains to be seen whether Rollins and Reigns will square off against each other in the future again. After all, fans would love to see the two engage in a long feud next time.
