Carlito Says ‘The Rumors Are True’ During Wrestling Event

Carlito was one of better known WWE Superstars during his time in the company, where he won championship gold a few times. Following his WWE release, he returned to the company only a couple of times – with his Backlash return being the most recent. Rumors have stated that Carlito signed with WWE and now it appears Carlito stated that the ‘rumors’ are true.

Caribbean Cool returend during Bad Bunny and Damian Priest’s San Juan Street Fight at the Backlash Premium Live Event. The pro wrestling veteran came out to even the odds after The Judgment Day interfered in the match.

As previously reported, Carlito was rumored to have signed contract with WWE as he pulled out of an upcoming indie show. In fact, it was said that Carlito told even more promoters that he signed with WWE.

While speaking at a House of Glory show this week, Carlito cut a promo after his match where he claimed that the ‘rumors are true’ but ended up swerving fans in a big way with his promo.

“The rumors are true. And that is that I taught El Hijo del Vikingo all of his moves.”

Carlito even joked that his indie wrestling price will be going up after WWE Backlash. Regardless, only time will tell whether Carlito will actually become a staple of WWE television again in the future.
