WWE hasn’t seen Drew McIntyre compete in a while, but that might change soon enough. There is currently a push within the company to bring the Scottish Warrior back to television.
WWE’s next big event will be Money in the Bank on July 1st. The O2 Arena in London will also be a sold out show, full of UK fans waiting to see history unfold.
According to a report from PW Insider‘s paywall, there is currently a push within WWE to come up with creative ideas for Drew McIntyre. That being said, Money in the Bank might be a good landing spot for that to happen.
There has been a push within WWE creative to have McIntyre back into the storyline mix by Money in the Bank weekend in London. Given his status as one of the company’s top European stars, that makes the most sense.
We are told there were meetings last week regarding pitches for McIntyre’s return as he hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania 39 and was Drafted to Monday Night Raw in the weeks after.
We will have to see when Drew McIntyre makes his return to WWE. Obviously, he has a ton of potential, and it seems that the company is going to prepare something for the former WWE Champion’s comeback.
