Ava, also known as Simone Johnson and the daughter of legendary wrestler The Rock, made her highly-anticipated network television debut on the latest episode of WWE NXT. The rising star showcased her in-ring skills in a mixed tag team match.

Although Ava had previously made her in-ring debut at the NXT premium live event, Stand & Deliver, the event was exclusively available on the Peacock streaming platform. Her debut on USA Network brought her talents to a wider audience and added to her growing presence in the wrestling world.

During the match, Ava found herself targeted by her opponent, Ivy Nile. Despite Nile’s attempts to gain the upper hand with a submission hold, Ava managed to escape. Nile then redirected her focus to Jagger Reid, applying the submission hold on her instead. However, due to WWE rules in mixed matches, Nile couldn’t secure a victory via submission on Reid and instead needed to defeat Ava.

Seizing the opportunity, Ava capitalized on a distraction when the referee’s attention was diverted. She utilized her Schism mask as a weapon, delivering a headbutt to Nile and discarding the mask before securing the pinfall victory for her team, Schism.
