Notable Talent Was Absent From WWE RAW This Week

WWE put on an episode of RAW from Hartford this week, and Vince McMahon was around for the show. That being said, he didn’t change a lot, but there were a couple Superstars who were not around as well.

According to an update from PW Insider, Tommaso Ciampa was not around this week for RAW. This is interesting, because he was there last week. Also, Drew McIntyre missed another week for the red brand.

We are told that Tommaso Ciampa was not backstage at Raw last night after being present last week. Neither was Drew McIntyre, who we were asked about quite a bit over the last few days.

We’ll have to see if Tommaso Ciampa and Drew McIntyre make their way back to WWE. They are both coming off injury hiatuses, so they might have different recovery times.

Drew McIntyre also has the pesky issue to take care of with his WWE contract. After all, the two sides were reportedly far apart on money, and his deal expires at the end of this year. Tommaso Ciampa’s current contract status is unknown.

We will keep our eyes peeled for more information on Drew McIntyre and Tommaso Ciampa here at Ringside News. WWE can obviously use them, but they need to wait until the right time to pull the trigger on those returns to make sure the matter.
