WWE will sometimes put a team together just so they can split them up later. It appears that one NXT team might already have their eyes on facing each other in the squared circle.

In a recent development, it appears that another WWE tag team could be on the verge of facing off in a singles match. This went down after a similar event that took place not long ago.

During the May 23rd episode of NXT, Hank Walker won a “friendly competition” match against his tag team partner, Tank Ledger. Inspired by the success story of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, who had fought each other before forming a tag team, Hank and Tank decided to test their own skills against each other.

Now, it seems that another NXT tag team is considering a similar idea. Edris Enofé and Malik Blade crossed paths with Hank and Tank backstage on the May 30th episode of NXT, and Blade appeared to be considering the idea of a singles match between them. That being said, Enofé seemed less enthusiastic about the prospect.

This interaction between the teams suggested the potential for an intriguing storyline to unfold. More tag teams in NXT might just explore the possibility of testing their individual mettle against their own partners.

Fans will have to stay tuned to see if this leads to a future showdown between Edris Enofé and Malik Blade, or if they choose to continue their partnership as a tag team. If anything, the idea certainly has us excited about the possibilities.
