Bobby Fish eventually made his way to AEW after he was let go by WWE as part of budget cuts back in 2021. While he had a brief reunion as part of The Undisputed Era, he eventually left AEW. Now it appears that Fish revealed a major scrapped feud featuring The Elite.

Following his AEW departure, Bobby Fish made his way to Impact Wrestling, where did not really get to do much. In the meantime, he even won his boxing debut match last year.

In the several months since his AEW exit, Adam Cole returned to in-ring action and Roderick Strong made his debut in the company. Naturally, fans have been waiting for an Undisputed Era reunion, minus Bobby Fish. That said, a reunion with Fish will not happen.

While speaking with Tru Heel Heat Wrestling, Bobby Fish was asked if there were ever any plans for a feud with The Elite scheduled before his exit. Fish confirmed that there were indeed plans for a feud but they got nixed.

“Yeah the plans were always something between the group of us, some version of Adam, me, Kyle, Roddy if he ever became available and then there was Matt and Nick who we already knew we had such chemistry with, and Kenny.

And Kenny and Adam are great foils for each other and like there was just, you know, the things that made sense. They made sense and I think everybody even without talking about it knew kind of where we were headed.

Tony books the show and I’m sure he had that long term as well. I believe he did, I can’t speak for the man. But things happen, variables get in the way and sometimes, you know, I mean pro wrestling sometimes things don’t work out the way you plan and a booker has to roll with those punches especially.

So we got close to some stuff and then we were still waiting on things and then injuries and then other things.”

While he has no interest in making a return to WWE, Bobby Fish did previously express interest in working with Ring of Honor and other promotions in the future. We’ll have to see what will become of Bobby Fish.
