AEW President Tony Khan has a lot of passion for professional wrestling and has numerous roles in AEW. He is the company’s primary booker and tries to make sure everything in the company makes sense. In fact, it appears that Khan was largely responsible for the Blackjack Battle Royal match at AEW Double Or Nothing.

The AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view was a night of memorable moments and excellent matches, but it was not without its fair share of criticisms. This is despite the fact that it had a few solid matches.

The event kicked off with the massive Blackjack Battle Royal match, where Orange Cassidy successfully retained his International Championship against the likes of Jay White, Ricky Starks, Swerve Strickland, The Lucha Bros, Big Bill and many more.

According to Fightful’s paywall, Tony Khan was “integral” in helping put things together and laying the battle royal out. It was also noted that Khan has a hand in most of the battle royal matchups AEW does and has a “knack for how they work.”
