Darby Allin Plans To Put AEW Flag On Summit Of Mount Everest

Darby Allin is currently one of the top stars in AEW, who has made a name for himself as a thrill seeker and extreme daredevil. That is not a gimmick as he is exactly like that in real life, which is why he plans on climbing Mount Everest next year. Now it appears he plans on putting an AEW flag on the summit of Mount Everest.

Darby Allin also loves skateboarding and doing a lot of death-defying activities that truly make him feel alive. The former TNT Champion truly knows no fear and has a life-changing plan for next year.

As previously reported, Darby Allin plans on climbing Mount Everest next year. Naturally, this is a major endeavor and there are several risks involved, as Mount Everest is a very dangerous place.

While speaking with Fightful, Darby recalled telling Tony Khan about his desire to climb Mount Everest and how he could get more attention for the company. Allin revealed that he plans on putting an AEW flag on the summit of Mount Everest.

Oh, no. I told him. I said, ‘Hey, I’ve got this idea. If there’s a way to get more eyes on the company,’ like I had been doing with the Travis Pastrana and Tony Hawk stuff, ‘There’s more eyes to get on the company through extreme stunts. I’ll be the guinea pig for that. What about me climbing Mount Everest? No wrestler’s ever done that before. What if I just plant a big AEW flag on top of Mount Everest?’ I’m thinking of what we could get in return, you know?

Interviews with Good Morning America or whatever it may be. I have a team that reached out to me from Discovery. We would document the whole thing. So it’s a way I want to give back to the company, so it’s not like homie going into the mountains and disappearing. There is a method to the madness that I want to give back. He was down at first, then he started thinking, ‘Wait, it’s Mount Everest. You might die.’ I said, ‘Tony, I think I got this.’ I really believe I got this. It’s a big thing to me to do.”

Darby Allin also plans on drafting will in case he dies. We certainly hope Darby Allin successfully completes his trek and doesn’t lose his life during the dangerous trek.
