Zoey Stark Explains Why She Aligned Herself With Trish Stratus

Zoey Stark was one of the mainstays of NXT television for a long time now, largely due to her excellent in-ring skills on a weekly basis. She was called up to the main roster earlier this month and clearly, WWE had major plans for her as Stark interfered in Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus’ match at WWE Night Of Champions. Now it appears Stark explained why she aligned herself with Stratus.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus’ rivalry grew more intense every week, as both women made it clear they have a lot of disdain for each other. They finally faced each other at the Night Of Champions Premium Live Event, which turned out to be much better than expected.

When it seemed that Becky Lynch had it in the bag, Zoey Stark came out from under the ring and attacked Becky Lynch, allowing Stratus to pick up the win. Naturally, Becky Lynch already sent warning to Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark.

While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Trish and Zoey spoke to a correspondent after the match. Zoey Stark explained that she was there to beat people up and there was no one better to align herself with than Trish Stratus.

“What kinda question is that? Look, we’re just here to kick ass, and no better than Trish Stratus to do it.”

Trish Stratus is slated to be on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. It remains to be seen how WWE will continue to book Stratus and Becky Lynch’s feud as we head towards Money In The Bank.
