Seth Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions. This is a very busy time for him, but we must squash one story that is going around right now.

As we previously reported, WWE was well aware of his Captain America: New World Order commitments. He had to miss two weeks of WWE RAW to make the Captain America: New World Order filming happen. That being said, those obligations are over for now.

A report came out that Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles was slated for the opening match at Night of Champions because the Visionary had to make it back to the United States to film for that movie.

Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that Seth Rollins is not shooting a movie right now, and he will be at RAW this week.

We were told that Seth Rollins was on the talent charter leaving Jeddah back to United States. He was around for the entire Night of Champions event, and even watched the main event with a number of talents. Rollins was also “one of the most vocal about how great the Bloodline story unfolding was.”

In the end, we are told that the report that Seth Rollins was put on first “is a blatant example of manufactured clickbait aka ‘fake news.'”

Ringside News exclusively reported that “WWE is thrilled” about Seth Rollins’ role in the new Captain America project. There is also no hesitation at all in putting Seth Rollins into “any role being discussed” for him.

We will have to see how Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship reign pans out, but it did not start out with a rush to get him back to the United States. For more on this story, and everything else going on in the pro wrestling world, stay tuned with us at Ringside News.
