Vince McMahon retired from WWE in July 2022, and since then Triple H has been in control of the company’s creative direction. That being said, Mr. McMahon is still in a position where he can still make very firm suggestions.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that, “there were new rundowns brought out shortly before the show.” It was not noted how much of the show changed, but this could explain why the outlet was so late in posting their full lineup for RAW this week.

It was also noted that one unnamed talent floated a very interesting theory. It was stated that those late changes may have come from Vince McMahon himself.

We’re told there were changes and one talent speculated it was due to Vince McMahon. We haven’t confirmed the latter part. 

WWE has a lot of things going on, and they also need to worry about another trip to Saudi Arabia for a premium live event. That being said, RAW apparently got a bit of an alteration, regardless of who made the call to edit the show.
