Eric Young Gets New Gig In WWE While Waiting On Television Debut

Eric Young was a part of WWE years ago as a member of SaNITy, but things didn’t work out for that stable. After his WWE release, he had a run with Impact Wrestling, but then he decided to depart from his former pro wrestling home to make an eventual WWE return. That was the last we heard from him, but Eric Young is still around.

PW Insider confirmed with multiple sources in December 2022 that Eric Young is set to return to World Wrestling Entertainment. However, there was no official word regarding his start date at the time of his signing.

One fan tweeted out to BWE, a proven backstage source in WWE, to inquire about Eric Young’s current situation in the company. Although Eric Young is not working in front of the camera, he is apparently learning other things backstage.

Many fans believed that Bray Wyatt and Eric Young would form some kind of alliance on camera. Young was also thought to have narrated one of Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House segments involving Bobby Lashley on the road to WrestleMania.

Eric Young is a veteran in the pro wrestling business, and he could fit into a few roles backstage as well. Only time will tell when fans see him again, but at least he is backstage and doing the most he can in the meantime.
