Becky Lynch is The Man, but she’s never been Miss Money in the Bank. That being said, the event is coming up in few months, and WWE hasn’t locked anyone down for their traditional multi-person ladder matches yet.

The Man’s husband, Seth Rollins, has a famous Money in the Bank cash-in under his belt. Becky Lynch might want one of those surprise moments of her own, because it’s apparently on her bucket list to carry that briefcase around.

While speaking with Mark Andrews, Becky Lynch said that she wants to win the Money in the Bank briefcase. She has also been trying to get a match with Beth Phoenix, something that has taken years of effort.

“I do want to win the Money in the Bank briefcase before it’s all said and done, and also wrestle Beth Phoenix. I’ve been trying to get her for years. She’s been dodging me. Every single Money in the Bank match I’ve been in, I’ve always been the second last person. We’re talking four Money in the Bank madder match, I’ve been the second last person.”

Money in the Bank will go down in London’s O2 Arena on July 1st this year. It will likely be a massive event as WWE wants to flex hard in the UK market. It seems that UK fans are in for a few exciting events coming up, including AEW All In London at Wembley Stadium.

Becky Lynch has not pulled down a Money in the Bank briefcase yet, but this might be a good year to make that happen. She needs a reason to get her push to the main event scene again, but she might have to deal with Trish Stratus along the way as well.

What’s your take on WWE’s booking for Becky Lynch? Do you think she will have another title run in 2023? Sound off in the comments!
