AEW is set to announce a new Saturday show, probably called Collision, and that will add another hour of viewing for fans every week. CM Punk is also expected to be a part of the new show, and that announcement is coming soon.

Despite AEW not confirming its existence, AEW Collision has been a popular topic for the past two months, primarily due to its association with CM Punk. Fortunately, wrestling fans will not have to wait much longer to uncover the truth about AEW’s enigmatic Saturday show.

According to PW Insider, the official announcement for “AEW Collision” is set to occur in a week’s time at the Warner Brothers Discovery upfronts, which will be held at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden on May 18th.

CM Punk was reportedly in talks with AEW about a return. The idea out there is that CM Punk will be a part of the new Saturday television show that AEW will bring. Also, if talent don’t want to be on a show with CM Punk, then Tony Khan will apparently facilitate that.

We will have to see how AEW plans to announce this show, but they are already selling tickets to events this summer and advertising that they will be for a live television taping. Only time will tell how the viewership turns out, but AEW Rampage is going to keep going on top of Collision, so Dynamite will remain the company’s flagship show.

Does AEW need another television show? Do you plan on making sure to catch Collision every week? Sound off in the comments!
