Kenny Omega is set to go to war against Jon Moxley on Dynamite this week. They are destined to battle in a steel cage match, and it will likely not be a match for the faint at heart. Both Moxley and Omega have something to prove, and their ferocity could manifest itself in some incredibly violent ways. That being said, Omega might also give it his all, because he knows that there isn’t much time left for him in the ring.

Kenny Omega and AEW are talking about a new contract, but nothing has been signed yet. WWE has interest in The Elite, together or separately, because they could make money on any of them. The big question is what Kenny Omega wants to do at this stage in his career.

While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Kenny Omega vowed that this cage match against Jon Moxley will be violent. He also dropped a little clue that would lead fans to believe that The Cleaner doesn’t have a ton of time left in the ring.

“Time is running thin on the Kenny Omega clock. I can guarantee anyone that sees me perform live that there is a reason for that performance, and I work to make every one special.

“I wanted this one to be unique and very fun for people who tune in and people who are there live. And I know how competitive Jon is.

“This will be a grueling, physically demanding and violent cage match.”

We will have to see how Kenny Omega vs Jon Moxley pans out this week. It will likely be a bloody war between two stars who don’t have a boss telling them they can’t blade in their matches. That being said, expect the squeamish fans to turn their heads many times throughout the contest.

Kenny Omega has achieved a lot in every company he stepped for in, except WWE. Only time will tell if he ever finds his way back to WWE eventually, because he only touched his foot in their developmental territory, Deep South Wrestling, at the time. Odds are he will get to skip developmental if WWE can secure The Cleaner under contract.
