Update: PW Insider is now reporting that Brock Lesnar WILL be on WWE RAW this week. This contradicts their previous report, but we wanted to get the update in here.

Original: Brock Lesnar is a force to be reckoned with in WWE, and he had quite a night in Puerto Rico at Backlash. The Beast Incarnate bled his own blood, and he lost to Cody Rhodes as well. That brings up a big question about his status this week for RAW.

According to a report from PW Insider, Brock Lesnar is not supposed to be at RAW this week. The Beast Incarnate is not slated to be on the show, but he’s also surprised fans before.

The report went on to note that Brock Lesnar legit split his head open with the exposed turnbuckle at Backlash. That was a real spot that included a bloody finish.

Brock Lesnar is not currently scheduled for TV this week.  The blood in his match against Cody was 100% planned, PWInsiderElite.com has been told by multiple sources, but don’t expect any sort of heavy blood usage to return to WWE programming.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE creative has not been informed whether WWE’s merger with the UFC will change the company’s policy on blood during matches.

Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes’ feud might not be over, either. That being said, it appears that the American Nightmare will compete in this week’s World Heavyweight Title tournament without having to worry about Brock Lesnar showing up.

What’s your take on Brock Lesnar skipping RAW this week? Do you like seeing him more often, or is he better as a special attraction?
