Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT promises to be an eventful one, as the promotion builds towards its upcoming Battleground special, while dealing with the fallout from the recent draft and the Spring Breakin’ episode.
The show will feature all 18 of the NXT draft picks, including injured stars Indi Hartwell and Grayson Waller. Fans will be eager to see how the NXT Women’s Title and the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles will be handled with the recent call-ups.
Additionally, Wes Lee will defend his NXT North American Title against Drew Gulak, while a follow-up to Bron Breakker’s attack on NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes is also expected.
The card for tonight’s show includes a debut for Dani Palmer, a match between Axiom and Scrypts, and a bout between Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. JD McDonagh will face Dragon Lee in his final NXT match, while Joe Coffey and Joe Gacy will compete with The Dyad’s title shot on the line.
It remains to be seen how the NXT roster will adapt to the recent changes, but fans can expect an exciting show tonight.
