WWE has more than one McMahon around, but only one of them is currently nursing an in-ring injury. Shane McMahon returned to WWE at WrestleMania 39 for a surprise match against The Miz. That ended in McMahon suffering an injury that required surgery, but all hope is not lost for Shane-O Mac’s in-ring career.

Shane McMahon is already back in the gym, although he’s sitting down while only doing arm and chest exercises. McMahon is able to do certain things to continue his training, but he’s still recovering after a quad surgery.

During Mailbag Monday on AdFreeShows, Mike Chioda was asked about Shane McMahon. Vince McMahon’s baby boy tore his quad at WrestleMania during his short in-ring return, but the veteran referee believes that Shane-O’s in-ring career won’t end on that sour note.

“Shane O’Mac will be back in that ring, brother. He’s working out hard right now. He’s gonna be back. I wish him a speedy recovery.” The former official added on his reaction to seeing McMahon’s injury during the live broadcast, “I felt bad and I seen he couldn’t get back up. I said, ‘No, this is not a work.’ He wouldn’t come back and… I just wish him a speedy recovery and all of the best.”

We will have to see if Shane McMahon ever makes a return to WWE. His father will always be able to pull some strings for him, but at 53-years-old, he is now older than a majority of the WWE locker room and it shows. McMahon blew himself up doing his signature dance to the ring in SoFi Stadium, and then he proceeded to injure himself.

Thankfully, Snoop Dogg was around to save that moment while Shane McMahon laid there in pain. It still made for quite a WrestleMania moment.

What’s your take on Shane McMahon’s eventual return to the ring? Do you want to see it happen? Sound off in the comments!
