According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Jinder Mahal wasn’t included in the 2023 WWE Draft pool for a good reason. He is now in NXT, and he is considered a full-time NXT Superstar now.

Jinder Mahal is doing his own thing in NXT, and it seems that fans shouldn’t expect his time in developmental to wrap up any time soon. He has a lot to offer younger Superstars, and he has been to the top of WWE as WWE Champion.

Fun fact, Jinder Mahal’s reign as WWE Champion did better business for the company than Seth Rollins’ reign. It wouldn’t shock anyone to see Seth Rollins hold a top title in WWE again, far before Mahal at this rate.

We’ll have to see what’s next for Jinder Mahal, because a stint in NXT could help him refocus his energy and become the Modern Day Maharaja once again. At least he will get to remain on WWE television in some fashion.

What’s your take on Jinder Mahal in WWE? Does he belong in NXT? Sound off in the comments!
