Impact Wrestling held their Spring Slugfest TV tapings on Friday, April 29th, at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, IL. The spoilers from these tapings will air on Thursday, May 4th, and Thursday, May 11th, on AXS TV.

The promotion will return to Cicero Stadium tonight (April 30th) for more tapings, which will air on May 18th and May 25th as the final episodes before Impact’s Under Siege pay-per-view on Friday, May 26th.

Fans who were in attendance got to see a wide range of exciting matches, including some debuts and championship bouts.

One of the most highly-anticipated moments of the night was the debut of Trinity Fatu, formerly known as WWE’s Naomi. She came out to the ring and cut a promo, declaring that she came to win the Knockouts World Title. The current champion, Deonna Purrazzo, interrupted her, and the two had a confrontation in the ring. Jordynne Grace then made an appearance and reminded them both that she had a title match with Purrazzo at the upcoming Under Siege event.

Other matches included Moose and Brian Myers defeating Bhupinder Gujjar and Yuya Uemura, and PCO, Heath, and Rhino defeating Impact World Champion Steve Maclin, Shera, and Champagne Singh. Heath and Rhino were PCO’s mystery partners in this match.

Jonathan Gresham defeated Mike Bailey, and Laredo Kid defeated Jack Price. Impact World Tag Team Champion Ace Austin also defeated Zicky Dice.

The following Thursday’s episode for May 11th saw The Motor City Machine Guns defeat Eddie Edwards and Kenny King, and John Skyler and Jason Hotch defeat Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus. Masha Slamovich was able to defeat Killer Kelly, while Dirty Dango won against Johnny Swinger.

Rich Swann was also able to defeat Angels, and after the match, he and Sami Callihan brawled with The Design.

Nick Aldis defeated Sheldon Jean, and the Knockouts World Tag Team Champions The Coven defeated Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace in a non-title match. After the match, Trinity Fatu came to Grace and Purrazzo’s aid, saving them from a beatdown.

Fans can look forward to seeing more exciting developments in the coming weeks as the promotion heads towards Under Siege on May 26th.
