Ringside News reached out to confirm that AJ Styles is back, and a tenured source within the company has informed us that he is 100% cleared to compete. That being said, Styles still sat out the brawl on SmackDown this week, but he did perform a Phenomenal Forearm later on.

The Good Brothers have clause in their WWE contracts that says they don’t have to be anywhere they’re not booked. Since AJ Styles went down with his ankle injury, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows haven’t been seen. Hopefully, that changes after the 2023 WWE Draft.

It’s been previously reported that Styles is close to return to action last week and was awaiting clearance from WWE’s medical team. It took several months for his broken ankle to repair, but Styles is now back and ready to go.

Now, we know that AJ Styles is back, and he is cleared to compete once again. Only time will tell how long it takes for AJ Styles to become a serious contender on the SmackDown brand.

What’s your take on AJ Styles’ WWE return? Are you surprised that it happened so soon? Sound off in the comments!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
