AJ Styles broke his ankle last year, and that ended a nice run he was having alongside the Good Brothers. Now, he’s waiting at home and tending to that injury. At this point, the news isn’t the best about how speedy his return will be.

The former WWE Champion already commented on the fact that this injury hiatus will be his longest break from pro wrestling ever. A broken ankle was certainly not in the plans for AJ Styles, and it virtually removed the Good Brothers from WWE programming.

PW Insider provided an update on AJ Styles, and at this point, it’s still a waiting game. The outlet noted that the broken ankle that he went through in December is still healing, and he hasn’t been around the WWE Performance Center training for a return yet.

We’ve been asked a lot about AJ Styles.  He was not around Wrestlemania weekend and we are told it’s just a matter of him being cleared to return from the broken ankle he suffered in December and being ready to perform.  We haven’t heard he’s been at the WWE Performance Center or anywhere else on the road for the company.

AJ Styles is also reaching the last stretch of his career, so this is a terrible injury to suffer. Hopefully, he can get back on television very soon and pick up where he left things off.

A lot of things have changed in WWE since AJ Styles went out of action. He will return with Endeavor as the company’s new majority shareholder, and a merger with the UFC will likely be completed.

What’s your take on AJ Styles’ hiatus from WWE television? Do you miss having him around? Sound off in the comments!
