WWE shakes up their rosters in a big way with their yearly drafts. 2023 was already a historic year, so the WWE Draft went down during a crucial point in the company’s history. Who did WWE pick to lead the main roster as they entered into this new era with a UFC merger?

The 2023 WWE Draft kicked off with a bang this week on SmackDown. They got right to business as the draft picks started, but he also made it clear that any Superstar can be drafted at any time to any brand. That was an interesting note.

The fact that NXT Superstars could be drafted got a pop from the crowd. The new rosters will go into effect on May 8th after Backlash.


We previously reported that WWE Superstars do not know where they will go in the 2023 WWE Draft yet. The fact is that is a common occurrence in WWE, because the company likes to capture organic reactions.
