The Dyad, Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler, both asked for their WWE releases. It was thought that they might get those walking papers, but then WWE changed their mind. The Dyad will remain in NXT until their deals are done.

Sean Sapp dropped a note behind Fightful’s paywall about the Dyad. It was said that Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler don’t plan on leaving the United States after their WWE deals are up in October.

Schism is still doing their thing in NXT, but things will need to change eventually. Ava and Joe Gacy might turn their act into a duo without Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler around.

WWE is a great home for a lot of talent, but it doesn’t last for everyone. We’ll have to see what the Grizzled Young Veterans do next, but they apparently don’t plan on going back to the UK after their time in WWE is finished.

Do you think the Grizzled Young Veterans would be a good fit for AEW? Did WWE drop the ball on them? Sound off in the comments!
