Jim Ross is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself as a commentator in WWE. He has delivered some of the most iconic moments in the history of pro wrestling. For many years he worked under Vince McMahon, but that doesn’t mean he agreed with everything McMahon did. Now it appears Ross believes McMahon was wrong to have fired a former female WWE Superstar.

Jim Ross worked in WWE for several years, which is why he knows the inner workings of the company. He has extensively worked with Vince McMahon, and it has not always worked out in his favor.

Stacy Carter, who used to work as The Kat in WWE, was part of the company between 1999 and 2001 as a valet and sometimes wrestled. She was fired by the company due to her alleged attitude problems.

As a form of protest Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, who was her husband at the time, left his job as part of the commentary team. While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross talked about WWE firing The Kat. Ross made it clear that he believes McMahon was wrong to have fired The Kat.

“I didn’t like the assignment. I thought we made the wrong decision there. Sending her home. If you felt like she had an attitude problem, and that’s the issue, then you send them home, [and] let them think about it. Can you come back changed? Can you identify your problem? It’s a lot better situation, Conrad, to identify and create a solution. You’ve gotta know your problem before you can solve it.”

Jerry Lawler and Stacy Carter would split up shortly after their WWE departure and Lawyer came back to his commentary duties in November 2001 after an eight-month absence. Regardless, Jim Ross will always believe that Vince McMahon should not have fired The Kat in the end.
