Vince McMahon might not have been physically present during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, that didn’t stop him from making ton of changes on the show. It appears that a lot of segments featuring female WWE Superstars were cut from the show.

According to PWInsider Elite, Candice LeRae, Piper Niven, Sonya Deville, Tamina, and Zelina Vega, were affected by Vince McMahon changing up the script. LeRae and Niven were set to appear in a segment together in order to advance their feud, but it was scrapped.

Adam Pearce was scheduled to be involved in a backstage segment with several female talent, which included Sonya Deville, but that was cut as well in order to give time to the backstage confrontation between Bianca Belair and Damage CTRL. This led to the six-woman tag team match later in the night.

It was said that Tamina, who was backstage at the taping, might have had her segment nixed as well but nothing was confirmed. Zelina Vega was also backstage but did not appear alongside her LWO stablemates, Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde for their six-man tag team match against The Bloodline.

WWE nixing female segments has become a trend of sorts, as it already happened last week as well. With Vince McMahon firmly back in charge, perhaps fans’ worst nightmares will become a reality again.

What’s your take on these cuts? Are you worried about female WWE talent now? Sound off in the comments!
