Raven earned the respect of pro wrestling fans all over due to his tireless work in the business and his willingness to give his all in the ring. That being said, the largest pro wrestling company in the world might not agree with those fans.

The WWE Hall of Fame includes many interesting names, all of which were handpicked by Vince McMahon. Now that Triple H is Chief Creative Officer, he has a big say in things. Raven does not believe he has a shot at getting his name called.

While speaking to PW Mania, Raven said that he doesn’t think there’s much of a chance that he will get any love from the WWE Hall of Fame

“I’m not expecting that to happen. I don’t think they see me that way. I don’t think Vince sees me that way. And obviously, if he saw me in that light, he would have used me better when I was there, so yeah, that’s not happening. I would almost bet everything I own that I’m not going to be inducted this year or any year in the future. And I think that’s why the Impact thing means a lot to me. Also, the Impact thing they only do one person a year.”

Considering everything Raven just said, he still has a chance. With WrestleMania 40 going down in Philly, it would be a tremendous idea to have an all-ECW Hall of Fame class. Someone like Paul Heyman could certainly headline that show, because nobody would disagree that Paul-E doesn’t deserve his spot in the WWE Hall of Fame at this point.

Only time will tell who WWE books in next year’s Hall of Fame. It only makes sense to give ECW some love in Philly. For more on this, and every other story in pro wrestling, stay tuned with Ringside News.
