Tammy Lynn Sytch was responsible for a car accident that took the life of a man. The WWE Hall of Famer was booked on DUI manslaughter charges, and now she is finally set to have her day in court.

According to PW Insider, “all signs are that Tammy Sytch will be heading to trial by this Fall in Florida.” This case was pushed back a few times over the history of the case.

There is scheduled to be a sounding of the docket against Sytch on 8/16 at 1:30 PM.

Jury selection is set for 9/15.

Sytch’s trial is slated for the week of 9/18 and is expected to take one week.

The 50-year-old former WWE Diva is charged with one count of DUI causing death (DUI Manslaughter, a felony in the third degree), one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license (a felony in the third degree), four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property following. That is quite a laundry list of charges.

Tammy Lynn Sytch was responsible for the March 2022 death of 75-year-old Julian Lasseter during a traffic incident in Ormond Beach, Florida. Obviously, the DUI Manslaughter charge is the most serious of the bunch. It is considered a felony and could land her in prison for 30 years. It also has a four-year minimum sentence.

Tammy Lynn Sytch waived her right to a speedy trial in August 2022 after “arising out of the criminal episode made the subject of this prosecution; specifically, the right to be tried within 175 days of her being taken into custody as provided by law and Rule 3.191, Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure.”  She was given a “criminal indigent status,” which means she can’t pay for her own attorney, so the court appointed one for her.

We will have to see how this situation pans out for Tammy Lynn Sytch. Obviously, we won’t know what the result is until her trial is over. For more on this story, and everything else in the pro wrestling world, stay tuned with Ringside News.
