WWE Superstars give their all to their passion, and sometimes that means injuries are a part of life. Bobby Roode hasn’t been around for a very long time, and fans will probably be a bit disappointed to discover that he’s not expected back any time soon.

The former Dirty Dawgs member hasn’t wrestled since June 25th, 2022 when he lost to Omos on Main Event. He had to take a break from action after that, which was followed by a fusion surgery.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Bobby Roode is still recovering. Also, it’s probably not a good idea to expect his return in the immediate future.

For those asking about Bobby Roode, he’s been sidelined for a year, but didn’t get his fusion until late last year. He’s still expected to be out quite some time.

Bobby Roode is still under contract with WWE, so that is a good sign. We don’t know what he is getting paid, but it’s also likely that WWE is freezing his deal for now. Only time will tell how it all shakes out for Roode in WWE.

Bobby Roode involved with Dolph Ziggler as 1/2 of the Dirty Dawgs. Those two had a lot of fun on the road, but their duo came to an abrupt end when Roode was sidelined.

We’ll have to see when Bobby Roode comes back. The former NXT Champion was a great addition to Triple H’s NXT during his run, and odds are The Game would be able to find a place for him.

What’s your take on Bobby Roode’s stint on the WWE main roster? Did Vince McMahon drop the ball with him?
