Joey Janela Criticizes CM Punk’s Appearance and Behavior as a Wrestling Champion

Joey Janela was once known as AEW’s resident bad boy. Now he has taken his talents to GCW, where he is working to elevate the indie wrestling promotion to new heights. Janela is also outspoken and is never afraid to go after anyone whom he doesn’t like. It appears that he decided to go after CM Punk once again recently.

CM Punk hasn’t been seen on AEW television since All Out last year and discussions about his impending return continue to dominate headlines. Reports have suggested that AEW is in the process of bringing back CM Punk to the company.

It is not really a secret that CM Punk is one of the most controversial pro wrestlers in the business and he has done nothing to change that perception about him at all. Many fans believe CM Punk has ruined AEW’s reputation to a huge extent.

Joey Janela recently revealed he had hilarious demand before he would face off against CM Punk. Janela now took to Twitter and continued taking shots at Punk by uploading a photo of IWGP Heavyweight Champion Sanada. Janela claimed that Punk does not look and act like a real champion.

CM Punk is set to return to AEW television on its new show called Collision, which is likely to debut in June this year. It remains to be seen whether CM Punk will be welcomed back with open arms this year.
