AEW President Tony Khan is very passionate about pro wrestling and that is without question. Despite this, Khan has made several questionable booking decisions that irritated people. That being said, there is also no denying that Khan is a fan of professional wrestling. Now it appears that he linked up with famous WWE Superfan Vladimir recently.

Vladimir the WWE Superfan is one of the most famous and well-loved fans in the history of the business. Vladimir Abouzeide moved to Manhattan from Haiti as a child and became enamored with the world of professional wrestling. He has appeared in numerous major WWE events during the 1990s.

Now it appears that Vladimir is not just a WWE fan as Tony Khan took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself along with Vladimir. Khan was certainly all smiles as he met the Superfan.

At age 8, on the first ppv I ever watched live, I saw a fan who seemed to be having such a great time at the live event.

At age 12, I joined the IWC, and learned that his name is Vlad, + he’s a very nice guy.

It was an honor to meet him in person. Thank you Vlad, you’re the man!

As previously reported, WWE even made a documentary on Vladimir a while ago. The company even ended up releasing a trailer for the documentary. However, the project was shelved indefinitely last year when it came to releasing it to the public.

Regardless, Tony Khan certainly had a wonderful experience meeting the WWE Superfan and perhaps he even learned a thing or two about how to be a fan of pro wrestling from Vladimir.

What’s your take on Tony Khan meeting Vladimir? Are you glad to see the two link up? Sound off in the comments!
