Mercedes Mone Boldly Calls Herself The ‘Female Rock’

Mercedes Mone shocked the pro wrestling world last year when she walked out on Monday Night RAW along with Naomi. After several months of speculation, Mone made her way to NJPW and instantly established herself as a true star. Now it appears that Mone boldly called herself the female version of The Rock.

Mercedes Moné is currently the IWGP Women’s Champion, having won the title at NJPW Battle in the Valley in February. Mone would then go on to successfully retain her title on a few occasions, firmly establishing her dominance in Japan.

The former WWE Superstar is currently a heel in Japan and is displaying a new side of herself, which fans had never seen before. Needless to say, fans have really started to enjoy her character now.

Mercedes Mone recently cut a promo in which she called herself a rockstar and followed it up with a quick guitar performance. This led to a fan calling her the female version of Dean Ambrose. Mone replied to the tweet and boldly called herself the female Rock instead.

Mercedes Mone is obviously drawing comparisons between herself and Hollywood Rock from 2003. Regards, we’ll have to wait and see how long Mone will remain the champion. For the time being, it’s likely she will reign over Japan for a long time.
