WWE had to change around a lot of things about RAW this week, and it had nothing to do with Vince McMahon. Fans saw a show that was changed in a big way because of travel issues for many WWE Superstars.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that WWE actually already scrapped Matt Riddle’s scheduled match against The Miz, because of his own issues. The Miz wasn’t going to be there, so they couldn’t do the match as advertised.

“That match was pulled, not having to do with travel at all. Because Miz wasn’t there. That was actually cancelled before the travel problems.”

It was further noted that Matt Riddle’s match against The Miz was, “scrapped for some reason yesterday, I don’t know.” That being said, this change to RAW would have gone down even if they didn’t have travel issues this week.

WWE had issues flying talent out of Orlando, which is a problem for them. After all, a lot of WWE Superstars fly out of the same Orlando location every week. One issue from such a popular travel hub obviously caused a lot of problems for WWE this week. Needless to say, those changes were not a Vince McMahon call.

That flight’s delay cause some Superstars to get there during the third hour of the show, like Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle.
