When WWE Is Planning To Blow Off Becky Lynch & Trish Stratus’ Feud

Trish Stratus shocked the WWE Universe when she turned on Becky Lynch this week during RAW. It turns out that WWE is doing some long-term booking here, because The Man isn’t set to get a dose of Stratusfaction for months.

Trish Stratus cost Lita and Becky Lynch the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Then she nailed The Man with Chick Kick before leaving the ring. She didn’t want to talk about her betrayal in a backstage interview, and headed off instead.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch are supposed to wrestle each other. That being said, their match won’t be until the biggest party of the summer.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus are scheduled to wrestle at SummerSlam.

SummerSlam will go down in Detroit’s Ford Fiend on August 5th, 2023. That Saturday event will be one for the record books, and we already know one match to expect now.

We’ll have to see how this story progresses from here. Obviously, they have four months to build toward this match, but Trish Stratus might not be around for the entire ride.
