Britt Baker excelled in AEW as the company’s first female signing. Her time in the company included a lengthy title run, but it also earned her a starring role in their new reality television show. During AEW All Access, Britt Baker spoke about her back issues, and it seems that is still a problem.

Britt Baker has been limited from in-ring action, but you couldn’t tell by counting her television appearances. Even as an injured talent, Baker still makes it to work every week and is available for however Tony Khan needs her that week.

Speaking on Casual Conversations with The Wrestling Classic, Baker shared an update about the injury. She stated that she’s not on the shelf, but she’s being proactive with the doctor. Baker also stated that she’s getting an MRI to make sure everything’s okay.

“No, I’m not on the shelf, not to the point where I can’t wrestle or anything. But we’re definitely being proactive with the doctor. I’m getting an MRI, so I have to get a shot to be able to wrestle. We are getting a new MRI this week just to make sure everything’s okay because our medical team, they never will let you work if it’s not safe. I have to say that first and foremost. But I’m very stubborn, and I want to wrestle as much as possible. Even if I not gonna wrestle, I’m gonna be at work.”

Hopefully, Britt Baker will be able to make it back to the ring very soon. She is staying on television and building her brand, which is always important. It is also possible that TK can still have her compete as long as she stays protected in tag team contests.

We’ll have to see what’s next for Britt Baker in AEW, but odds are she’s far from finished. For more on this, and every other story in the pro wrestling world, stay tuned with Ringside News.
