Austin Theory is steadily building his reputation as one of WWE’s up-and-coming talents, showcasing his skills on television each week. The United States Champion defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 39 last week, shocking fans all over the world. Theory is always ready to take on any challenger and it seems he took out Dolph Ziggler after the latter imitated John Cena.

Last night’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown saw Sami Zayn square off against Jey Uso in the main event. Zayn could not win the match after Solo Sikoa intervened towards the end.

After the show went off the air, fans were treated to a solid match between Austin Theory and Dolph Ziggler. Unsurprisingly, there was a lot of back-and-forth action between the two competitors.

The match saw Ziggler hitting a Five Knuckle Shuffle, which was John Cena’s signature move. The Showoff then tried to hit The Attitude Adjustment on Theory, but failed. Right after that, Austin Theory hit Ziggler with an Eye Rake before hitting Ziggler with the A-Town Down for the win.
